Diseño arquitectónico de un parque urbano deportivo para los barrios “Comité del Pueblo” y “La Bota” en la ciudad de Quito

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se desarrolla el proceso de diseño arquitectónico de un parque urbano deportivo, debido a la necesidad de espacios recreativos, deportivos, culturales y de ocio en el bienestar de la salud de las personas y otros beneficios que adquiere el lugar donde se lo implante. El proyecto nace del análisis urbano de los barrios “Comité del Pueblo” y “La Bota” para identificar la necesidad de equipamientos y espacios necesarios para la mejor habitabilidad de sus ocupantes. Posteriormente se selecciona el predio destinado a equipamiento recreativo, entre los dichos barrios, en el cual el primer barrio según el análisis urbano presenta una densidad poblacional alta y pocos escenarios deportivos, obteniendo un alta demanda y necesidades de espacios recreativos y culturales. Debido a la topografía del lugar se pretende aprovechar al máximo las visuales y a la vez se toma en cuenta las condicionantes del lugar, normativas, parámetros de diseño y referentes arquitectónicos que han llegado a funcionar de forma correcta tanto espacial como funcionalmente. Con la propuesta de este proyecto se busca potenciar la unión social entre los ambos barrios y generar lugares para caminar, ejercitarse, conversar, aprender y ver espectáculos, aprovechando un espacio intersticial que es necesario para la convivencia de los habitantes e imprescindible para el traslado de un barrio al otro.

In the present work, the architectural design process of an urban sports park is developed, due to the need for recreational, sports, cultural and leisure spaces in the well-being of people's health and other benefits that the place where it is implanted acquires. The project was born from the urban analysis of the “Comite del Pueblo” and “La Bota” neighborhoods to identify the need for the necessary equipment and spaces for the best habitability of its occupants. Subsequently, the property intended for recreational equipment is selected, among the said neighborhoods, in which the first neighborhood according to the urban analysis has a high population density and few sports venues, obtaining a high demand and needs for recreational and cultural spaces. Due to the topography of the place, it is intended to make the most of the visuals and at the same time take into account the conditions of the place, regulations, design parameters and architectural references that have come to function correctly both spatially and functionally. The proposal of this project seeks to promote the social union between the two neighborhoods and generate places to walk, exercise, talk, learn and watch shows, taking advantage of an interstitial space that is necessary for the coexistence of the inhabitants and essential for the transfer of one neighborhood to another.
